The event aimed to gather input and refine proposals prepared by applicants interested in participating in the 2023 Matching Fund Program. It was conducted online via Zoom and officially opened by the Head of LPPM USU, Prof. Tulus, Vor.Dipl.Math., M.Si., Ph.D. The event was moderated by the Secretary of LPPM USU, Dr. Meutia Nauly, S.Psi., M.Si., Psikolog, who facilitated the discussion.
The LPPM USU invited expert speakers who are reviewers for the Matching Fund Program, namely: Prof. Ir. Suhubdy, Ph.D, presented "Tips and Tricks for Writing Competitive Matching Fund Proposals.", Dr. Agus Tri Basuki, SE., M.Si., provided insights on "Preparing Matching Fund Proposals" by the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Higher Education, Research, and Technology under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
In addition, LPPM USU also invited lecturers who received Matching Fund grants in 2022 to share their experiences with new applicants. These lecturers included: 1) Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si., 2) Dr. dr. Juliandi Harahap, MA, FISPH, FISCM, 3) Dr. Tasnim Lubis, S.Pd.I., M.Hum, 4) Dr. Eka Lestari Mahyuni, SKM., M.Kes., 5) Dra. Syarifah, MS, 6) Fuzy Yustika Manik, S.Kom., M.Kom, 7) Dr.Eng. Taufiq Bin Nur, ST., M.Eng.Sc. The experienced recipients shared their insights to help new applicants improve the quality of their proposals and increase their chances of securing funding for the 2023 Matching Fund Program.
