The Community Service Institute of the University of North Sumatra attended the Expo and Closing Ceremony of the 2025 International Community Service Program (KKN), which was held at the University of Lampung Rectorate Courtyard on August 20, 2025. Students showcased various products produced during the KKN program in East Lampung and Pesawaran.
The Expo and Closing Ceremony were attended by the Head of the West Region State Universities Agency (BKS PTN), who is also the Rector of Syiah Kuala University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan; the Rector of Itera, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Pugeg Aryntha; the Rector of Unila, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; and representatives from the USU Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM), including the Secretary of the Institute, Dr. Meutia Nauly, S.Psi., M.Si., Psychologist; the Head of the Administration Sub-Division, Syafrijal, S.Kom.; and Putri Afiati, S.Sos.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive of the 2025 International Community Service Program, Dr. Eng. Feerzet Achmad, S.T., M.T., expressed his appreciation to the participants who had participated in the program until the closing stage. He also mentioned that the work programs implemented by the participating students had impacted the community in resource utilization, such as processing cassava into mocaf flour, processing avocados into jam and cosmetics, and disaster mitigation programs and utilizing technology to advance MSMEs.
The program was officially closed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan, who personally presented the handover certificate as preparation for the 3rd International Community Service Program in Tasikmalaya and Pangandaran, hosted by Siliwangi University and the Bandung Institute of Arts and Culture.
