BIMTEK Writing DAPTV PkM Proposals

Medan, the Community Service Institute of Universitas Sumatera Utara carries out Technical Guidance and Assistance in Writing Community Service Proposals Funding Sources of the Academic Directorate of Vocational Higher Education (DAPTV) in 2024.

This activity was carried out with the aim of providing technical guidance and mentoring to lecturers from the Vocational Faculty who will propose Community Service activities with funding sources from the Academic Directorate of Vocational Higher Education (DAPTV) in 2024, this activity was held on Monday, January 8 2024, which took place in the Meeting Room of the Community Service Institute Building of Universitas Sumatera Utara.

The implementation of the Technical Guidance and Assistance in Writing Community Service Proposal activities was opened by the Chair of the USU LPPM, Prof. Drs. Tulus, Vor.Dipl.Math., M.Sc., Ph.D. On this occasion it was conveyed that this activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the number of proposals successfully submitted until the end of the proposal submission period on January 15 2024.

Implementing Technical Guidance and Assistance in Writing Community Service Proposals, LPPM USU gave an assignment to Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si as resource person who is a National Reviewer in Community Service activities. During the implementation of this activity, the resource person conveyed some information regarding the submission of proposals for Community Service activities based on the guidelines published by DAPTV as the activity organizer.

Also, participants were given some information to avoid mistakes that could result in the failure of proposals submitted at the initial or administrative stages. Several things that the proposer needs to pay attention to include the proposer must follow the template that has been provided, the proposer must pay attention to the requirements for the statement letter and the provisions for the use of stamp duty.

Specifically regarding the use of stamps, it is hoped that the proposer can use original material and avoid using 1 (one) stamp for several statement documents. Using the same stamp for several statements will fail the proposed proposal. Reviewers can find out about this by looking at the code or serial number on the material.

As a conclusion to the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that the proposals that will be submitted until the last day can increase. So, it is hoped that with more and more proposals being successfully submitted, it will be possible to increase the number of Community Service activity titles that receive funding from DAPTV in 2024.
