The Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) is now accepting proposals for the Student Programs with Community Empowerment Impact for Post-Disaster Recovery in Sumatra for the 2026 Fiscal Year. Proposal submission is open from June 15 to June 20, 2025, and must be submitted through the following platform: https://bima.kemdiktisaintek.go.id/
This program is designed as a platform for contextual learning for students, as well as a policy instrument to support the acceleration of recovery for disaster-affected communities through the application of science, technology, and innovation that are relevant to local needs. Through the active involvement of student organizations and academic supervision by lecturers, the program is expected to generate tangible, measurable, and sustainable impacts for target communities.
The implementation of the Student Impact Program is grounded in humanitarian principles applied contextually within learning activities and community empowerment initiatives carried out by students under the supervision of lecturers. These principles serve as ethical guidelines, attitudes, and operational standards for students in designing, implementing, and reporting post-disaster recovery activities within communities.
Proposals may be submitted by officially recognized student organizations, including Student Legislative Bodies (BPM/DPM/Student Senate), Student Executive Boards (BEM), Departmental or Program Student Associations (HIMA/HIMPRO), and Student Activity Units (UKM). Proposal submission must be facilitated by a lecturer acting as the Field Supervisor, and submitted through:
