MEDAN – USU Community Service Team invites teenagers to utilize the Shopee Affiliate Program as a source of additional income
The activity is a community service program carried out in Simpang Selayang Village, Medan Tuntungan District by lecturers from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) USU, Saturday (10/8/2024).
This activity was carried out in the form of training and education entitled Utilization of Social Media and the Internet in Increasing Teenage Creativity.
This community service program is chaired by Dr. Feni Khairifa, S Sos, MA who is a lecturer in the Communication Science Study Program, FISIP USU, consisting of Feby Aulia Safrin, SAB, MA who is a lecturer in the Business Administration Study Program, FISIP USU and also Dr. Mucklis, S Sos, who is a lecturer in the Communication Science Study Program, FISIP USU and also attended by Ainun Mardhiyah, SAB, MAB who is a lecturer in Business Administration, FISIP USU and attended by students namely Ikbar Panjaitan, Muhammad Alvin, Christian Jeremy Manurung and Muhammad Aldy Khusairi and teenagers in the local village.
According to Dr. Feni Khairifa, S Sos, MA, this community service program has the main objective of increasing the creativity of teenagers, especially in Simpang Selayang Village to generate new income by utilizing the Shopee Affiliate program.
"By utilizing gadgets and internet services, teenagers can become affiliates who can certainly earn income, even high income if they are consistent in running it," said Dr. Feni Friday (8/16/2024).
Teenagers are taught to create a Shopee affiliate account and are also taught how to make the Shopee affiliate visible to many people, one of which is by sharing it through social media accounts.
This training is expected to help teenagers to have their own source of income and increase financial awareness among teenagers in other areas.
