Based on the invitation of AIESEC Indonesia, number 022/ID/P/VIII/2018, regarding the International Community Service Program of Universitas Sumatera Utara through the Community Service Institute, sent four (four) representatives to fulfill the invitation of AIESEC Indonesia, namely Prof. Dr. Dra. Irnawati Marsaulina, M.S., Dr. Surya Dharma, M.P.H., Ir. Kalsum, M.Kes., and Eka Darmansyah, A.Md..
AIESEC has been in Indonesia since 1984 and is officially registered in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with the Deed of Establishment number AHU-49/AH.01.06 of 2018. Based on the information obtained that AIESEC has a student exchange program and has been present in 126 countries worldwide, AIESEC is a youth organization recognized and entrusted by the United Nations to become the main world peace change agent for young people to carry out the Sustainable Development Goals.
The aims and objectives of AIESEC Indonesia invited the Institute for Community Service of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (LPPM USU) to explain the international student exchange programs owned by AIESEC Indonesia. AIESEC Indonesia has been active in 30 universities and 18 cities and conducts at least 2,000 social and cultural exchange programs annually in 126 countries where AIESEC is located.
