Medan – The Institute for Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) conducted Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities for recipients of Non-PNBP (Non-State Revenue) Community Service funding for the Fiscal Year 2022.

This Monitoring and Evaluation was conducted specifically for community service programs with partner locations in Medan City. The Monev activities took place from September 28 to 30, 2022.

The Monitoring and Evaluation activities were conducted offline, with LPPM USU reviewers and accompanying staff visiting partner locations to perform the evaluation. Nine reviewers were involved in monitoring and evaluating 73 community service programs.

The purpose of the Monitoring and Evaluation was not only to ensure the achievement of the targets set for the programs but also to verify the involvement of partners in implementing the activities. Additionally, the reviewers ensured that the partners experienced tangible benefits from the community service programs.

These monitoring and Evaluation activities are hoped to improve the outcomes of Community Service activities managed by LPPM USU. Furthermore, the benefits of these programs are expected to positively impact the partner organizations and communities in the service locations.
