LPPM USU Continues Parallel Assistance for Drafting DRTPM Abdimas Funding Proposals for 2022

Proposal drafting assistance for community service programs (Abdimas) at several faculties within Universitas Sumatera Utara was conducted simultaneously on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

Six faculty members participated in the guidance sessions, which were led directly by LPPM USU reviewers. These activities were held in parallel at the Faculties of Public Health, Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science and IT, Economics and Business, and Cultural Studies.

 

 

In the morning, sessions were conducted for three faculties. The first session, held at the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) at 10:00 AM, was opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Ida Yustina, M.Si., in the FKM USU meeting room. Two LPPM USU reviewers facilitated the session, Destanul Aulia, S.K.M., M.B.A., M.Ec., Ph.D., and Dr. Rahayu Lubis, M.Kes, Ph.D., and attended by eight lecturers. One lecturer followed up on administrative matters with LPPM to explore partner issues in a district of North Sumatra.

 

 

Simultaneously, a proposal drafting session was held at the Faculty of Engineering in its meeting room, opened by WD3 Faculty of Engineering, Nismah Panjaitan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and attended by the Dean, Dr. Ir. Fahmi S.T., M.Sc., IPM. The reviewers for this session were Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita, S.T., M.T., and Dr. Ir. Nurzainah Ginting, M.Sc. Fourteen lecturers actively participated until the discussion concluded in the afternoon.

Another session occurred at the Faculty of Agriculture in the DH Penny FP USU room at 10:00 AM, facilitated by LPPM USU reviewers Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si. Sixteen lecturers participated, spurred on by the extended proposal submission deadline on Simlitabmas to February 15, 2022.

In the afternoon, guidance sessions continued at three other faculties. At the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at 2:00 PM, WD3 FEB, Paidi, S.E., M.Si., opened the session, which was attended by 11 lecturers and facilitated by Dr. Nurman Achmad, S.Sos., M.Soc.Sc.

Simultaneously, the Faculty of Computer Science and IT (Fasilkom TI) held its session at 2:20 PM in the Seminar Room, Building C. Dr. Maya Silvi Lydia, B.Sc., M.Sc., and Prof. Ir. T. Sabrina, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D. facilitated the session, which had 18 lecturers enthusiastically participating.

The Faculty of Cultural Studies (FIB) also conducted its session, which was opened by the Dean, Dr. Dra. T. Thyrhaya Zein, M.A., in the multifunctional room. Reviewers included Prof. Dra. Pujiati, M.Soc.Sc., Ph.D., and Dr. Gustianingsih, M. Hum. The session was attended by 28 lecturers, and lively discussions were held on strategies for securing DRTPM funding in 2022.
