Medan, the Institute for Community Service atUniversitas Sumatera Utara carried out a working visit to the Institute for Research and Community Service at Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh on 29 November - 1 December 2023.
The aim of this activity is to convey information related to the implementation of Community Service activities with the National Collaboration Scheme implemented by the Community Service Institute of Universitas Sumatera Utara. Where, in 2023 there will be several service titles carried out in partnership with Lecturers/Teaching Staff from Universitas Syiah Kuala.
This working visit activity was attended by the Chair of USU's LPPM, Prof. Tulus Vor.Dipl., Math., M.Sc., Ph.D. and USU LPPM Secretary Dr. Meutia Nauly, S.PSi, M.Si Psychologist and several staff from LPPM USU. And, LPPM USK was attended by the Chair of LPPM USK Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin, S.Sc., M. Tech along with staff from LPPM USK.
On this occasion Prof. Tulus delivered a discussion regarding the sustainability of the National Collaboration Scheme Community Service Program in 2024. It is hoped that this Community Service activity will continue, in accordance with USU's LPPM Work Plan for 2024. In implementation in 2024, there is hope that partner universities can contribute to implementation of this National Collaborative Scheme Service activity, so that the benefits of implementing this activity will be greater both to the target partners of the Service activity and to each of the implementing Universities.

Next, LPPM USK explained the work program related to Community Service activities carried out by Lecturers/Teaching Staff in the USK Environment, who delivered this material accompanied by Mr. Junaidi, ST., MT as Administrative Coordinator of LPPM USK.
At the end of the implementation of this activity, a discussion was held regarding the existence of a Cooperation Agreement which will be the basis for carrying out Community Service activities which can later be managed jointly.
