Monitoring and Evaluation (Follow-Up) of Non-PNBP Funded Community Service 2022

Medan – The Institute for Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Sumatera Utara held a follow-up Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) event for Community Service activities funded by Non-PNBP sources for 2022.

This Monitoring and Evaluation activity is a follow-up to a previously conducted program. Previously, the Monitoring and Evaluation was conducted offline by directly visiting the locations of community service partners within the Medan area.

The current Monitoring and Evaluation activity primarily targets community service projects outside Medan. It also includes projects that could not be evaluated during the previous session for various reasons.

The Monitoring and Evaluation activity was conducted online via the Zoom meeting application from November 15 to 17, 2022. Prior to the event, LPPM USU and the reviewers assigned held a “Briefing and Alignment Session” to ensure a uniform understanding of the objectives and methods.

During the Monitoring and Evaluation session, lecturers or heads of the community service projects were required to present the outcomes of their respective projects and explain the achievements accomplished through their implementation. One hundred sixty-one community service projects were involved in this Monitoring and Evaluation activity, with 32 assigned Reviewers.

In addition to the presentations, the lecturers or project heads were asked to involve their community service partners to facilitate direct confirmation by the assigned Reviewers during the session.
