The USU Faculty of Agriculture held the VI National Seminar on Community Service Results in Commemoration of the 63rd Anniversary of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Wednesday (11/13/2019).
The VI National Seminar on Community Service Results in the Framework of the 63rd Anniversary Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, was held at the DH Penny Seminar Room, Faculty of Agriculture, USU, on Wednesday (13/11). The theme of the event, “Sustainable Community Empowerment Through Science and Technology Innovation,” was opened by the USU Community Service Institute Chairperson, Prof. Tulus, Vor.Dipl.Math., M.Si., Ph.D. On this occasion, also attended the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture USU, Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S., and the Chairperson of the Committee, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si.
The purpose of the activity is:
Through this service results seminar, university academics can disseminate information about applying science and technology innovation through community service activities.
Become a forum for university academics to exchange information about sustainable community empowerment through science and technology innovation.
This seminar presented speakers from Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, Dr. R. Wisnu Nurcahyo (Reviewer PPM DRPM Dikti), and from the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Tulus, Vor.Dipl.Math., M.Si., Ph.D. (Head of the Institute for Community Service).
The number of papers participating in this activity has increased. From only 30 papers at the beginning, there are now 63 papers. The paper is the result of community service funded by the LPPM USU talent fund. All faculty at USU participated in this activity. Participants came not only from internal USU but also from PTN / PTS outside USU.
