In his opening remarks, Prof. Tulus emphasized that submitted proposals should align with established IKU targets and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Universities' performance in community service is evaluated based on several aspects, including the number of activities, outputs, and revenue generation. Therefore, proposals should significantly improve the university's national and international rankings.
Three hundred lecturers from USU attended the event, and their active participation was reflected in the high level of engagement during the session moderated by Meutia Nauly, S.Psi., M.Si., Psychologist and secretary of LPPM USU. Many technical and conceptual questions were raised, and Prof. Tulus' presentation generated considerable interest among lecturers. Attendance records showed that 97.6% of participants intended to submit proposals for 2022.
The proposal submission process is open from March 14 to 24, 2022, through the simabdimas.usu.ac.id management information system. This timeline aligns with the announcement of DRTPM proposals for 2022.
Feedback from participants will be considered to enhance the USU Talenta Community Service Program, including improvements to the Talenta Community Service Journal, increased student involvement, and refined management systems.
