Medan - The Institute for Community Service of Universitas Sumatera Utara (LPPM USU) organized the Seminar on the Results of Community Service Activities 2025, which was held at the Hall of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, on 11 December 2025.
The seminar officially commenced with an opening address by the Chair of LPPM USU, Prof. Tulus, followed by keynote presentations delivered by Prof. Muhammad Basyuni and Prof. Elisa Julianti. The session was moderated by the Secretary of LPPM USU, Dr. Meutia Nauly, who guided the discussion and facilitated scholarly exchange throughout the seminar.
Subsequently, the seminar continued with presentations by participants, consisting of Community Service Implementation Teams under the Fostered Village Program, International Collaborative Community Service Scheme, and National Collaborative Community Service Scheme. These presentations highlighted the outcomes, impacts, and best practices of community service initiatives conducted throughout the year.
The seminar was conducted simultaneously in two designated rooms prepared by the organizing committee. Each participant was required to present the results of their respective community service activities, which were then evaluated by an assessment panel appointed by the Institute for Community Service of Universitas Sumatera Utara. This seminar served as an important academic forum to disseminate community engagement outcomes, strengthen collaboration, and enhance the quality and impact of community service programs at USU.
