On Monday, November 18, 2019, at the LPPM USU Meeting Room, a thanksgiving event was held to celebrate the results of the Community Service Performance-based Higher Education Ranking for the 2016-2018 period. The Universitas Sumatera Utara managed to rank 7th, making Universitas Sumatera Utara the only university in the Sumatra region to enter the top 10. The event was attended by the Chairperson and Secretary of LPPM USU, the Vice Dean III from each Faculty, the lecturers involved in the ranking process, and all staff of LPPM USU.
On that occasion, the Vice Rector III Universitas Sumatera Utara also took the time to attend between his busy schedule and expressed his gratitude to the Community Service Institution, which had succeeded in achieving Rank 7 in Community Service Performance. He also advised us to always maintain what already exists and improve the performance of LPPM USU for the next period.
The event was continued with a meal together.
After the meal together, the event continued with a Coordination Meeting on the Mapping Preparation Plan, Targets, and Achievements for the Community Service Program, KKN-PPM, and LPPM USU Fostered Villages for the 2020 Fiscal Year. The meeting was led by the Head of LPPM USU (Prof. Tulus, M.Sc.), Secretary of LPPM USU (Prof. Dr. Dra. Irnawati Marsaulina, M.S.), and attended by the Vice Rector III (Drs. Mahyuddin K.M. Nasution, M.IT., Ph.D.) and the Vice Deans III from each Faculty.
