LANGKAT- Acting Regent of Langkat, H.M. Faisal Hasrimy, AP, M.AP, represented by the Assistant for Government and Public Welfare, Drs. H. Mulyono M.Si, attended the withdrawal and pick-up event for the 2024 Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) KKNTR students at the Pattern Room of the Langkat Regent's Office.
In the written remarks of the Acting Regent of Langkat read by Drs. H. Mulyono, M.Si, he expressed his high appreciation to the USU KKNTR students who had carried out their duties in Langkat Regency. "On behalf of the Langkat Regency Government, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the presence of the students carrying out the USU Regular KKNT in Langkat Regency," he said.
Faisal Hasrimy also acknowledged the contribution of the students in giving new colors to the lives of the local community during the implementation of KKN. "Of course, there are many different stories and experiences in each different village," he added. He also expressed his gratitude to the Head of LPPM USU and conveyed his greetings to the Rector and the entire USU family.
The Head of LPPM USU, Prof. Tulus, represented by Dr. Rusdi Noor Rosa, M.Hum, said that 120 USU KKNTR students were divided into 10 groups and placed in 10 villages in five sub-districts, namely Sei Bingai, Kutambaru, Bahorok, Salapian, and Batang Sarangan Sub-districts. "KKN is over, you have been trained for 30 days. Because you have been trained, there must be changes," said Dr. Rusdi Noor Rosa, M.Hum.
Dr. Rusdi also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Langkat Regency Government and the ranks of the sub-district and village governments who had welcomed the students well. "Thank you for accepting USU KKNT students. They are from various departments," he said.
The withdrawal and pick-up event was closed with the hope that the cooperation between USU and the Langkat Regency Government can continue in the future. "Hopefully everything we do contributes to the progress of Langkat Regency," concluded Dr. Rusdi Noor Rosa, M.Hum.
