USU LPPM Attends the Result Seminar and Final Report of RKI and PMKI Year 2025

The Institute for Community Service of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (LPPM USU) attended the implementation of the Result Seminar and Final Report activities for the Indonesian Collaborative Research (RKI) and Indonesian Collaborative Community Service (PMKI), which were held at the Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) from November 26 to 29, 2025, located in the UNP Auditorium.

The Institute for Community Service of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (LPPM USU) attended the implementation of the Result Seminar and Final Report activities for the Indonesian Collaborative Research (RKI) and Indonesian Collaborative Community Service (PMKI), which were held at the Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) from November 26 to 29, 2025, located in the UNP Auditorium.

 

 

This activity was attended by 502 participants consisting of researchers, institutional leaders, and reviewers from 24 Legal Entity State Universities (PTN-BH) throughout Indonesia. The implementation of this activity was attended by the Chair of LPPM USU, Prof. Tulus, the Secretary of LPPM USU, Dr. Meutia Nauly, along with staff related to the implementation of the PMKI activities.

 

 

The event was opened by the Rector of UNP, Krismadinata, Ph.D., who in his remarks conveyed his appreciation and welcome to the participants, emphasizing that the organization of this RKI-PMKI monitoring and evaluation (Monev) was combined with the UNP Innovation Expo activities, serving as an important moment in strengthening national research collaboration. Furthermore, on this occasion, he proposed that future activities involve postgraduate students so that academic and research continuity becomes stronger.

 

 

The Chair of the LPPM/DRPM/PTN-BH Forum, Prof. Dr. R. Benny Riyanto, S.H., M.Hum., CN., in his delivered remarks, emphasized that research collaboration between PTN-BH institutions is a strategic necessity to accelerate national research achievements and strengthen Indonesia's position in the global research map. He encouraged the strengthening of interdisciplinary research, the integrated utilization of laboratories, and the increase of outputs through dissemination and commercialization.

 

 

On this occasion, a Leadership Meeting of the LPPM/DRPM/PTN-BH Forum was also held to discuss the development and planning of the implementation of RKI and PMKI activities in 2026. Additionally, a meeting of RKI and PMKI Information System Administrators was conducted, aiming to exchange information regarding problems encountered in the management of the RKI and PMKI information systems.
