The discussion focused on potential collaborations between Batubara Regency and USU, especially concerning Tanjung Kasau Village and LPPM USU. Tanjung Kasau Village has excellent local potential for development. Batubara Regency is also one of the prototype regencies in North Sumatra targeted by the P3PD Program, with USU as a partner. It was agreed that LPPM USU would assist in developing Tanjung Kasau Village.
One of Tanjung Kasau's featured products is batik. During the visit, the Head of the PMD Office and the head of the Tanjung Kasau Village presented souvenirs in the form of batik fabric and batik-crafted bags.
