Pinang Lombang Village, Na IX-X District, North Labuhan Batu Regency, August 24, 2024 – The Community Service Institute Team of the University of North Sumatra (LPPM-USU) led by dr. Rahayu Lubis, MKes, PhD, together with students, carried out a community service activity entitled "Formation of Adolescent Reproductive Health Cadres for Students at the Atthoyyibah Indonesia Islamic Boarding School". This activity took place at the Atthoyyibah Indonesia Islamic Boarding School, Pinang Lombang Village, Na IX-X District, North Labuhan Batu Regency, and was attended by 32 students. The Head of the Atthoyyibah Indonesia Islamic Boarding School, Ir. Tamsil Lubis, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be a partner in this community service with the theme of health. In the event, dr. Rahayu Lubis, MKes, PhD, explained that the purpose of the activity was to provide education on adolescent reproductive health and the impact of anemia on adolescents. The material on adolescent reproductive health was presented by Dr. Ir. Erna Mutiara, MKes, while the topic of physiological changes in adolescents was discussed by Drs. Jemadi, MKes, and the incidence of anemia in adolescents by Maya Fitria, SKM, MKes.
The students enthusiastically participated in this event and actively discussed the topics presented. It is hoped that through this activity, a healthy and intelligent generation will be achieved in the future. The event ended with the presentation of souvenirs to the leaders of the Islamic boarding school and the students
