USU Conducts Community Partnership Service, This is the Hope of the Village Government of Pulang Banyak Langkat

LANGKAT – The Pulau Banyak Village Government, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency welcomed the presence of community service partnerships from the University of North Sumatra (USU) for 2 days, Monday-Tuesday, July 29-30, 2024.

The activity raised the theme "Fish Pellet Production Machine Against Stunting for Micro Business Development and Community Empowerment in Pulau Banyak Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency.

The community service partnership activity team chaired by Dr. Drs. Zulfendri MKes appreciated the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the Pulau Banyak Village community for their desire to develop the potential in the village.

The resource person for the activity was Rahmi Amelia Lubis MKes and as the community service team, the USU LPPM together with Dr. Drs. Zulfendri MKes Dr. Drs. Kintoko MKM, Warjio PhD, Armaya Yoga Putri SKM and Filza Syarafina.

Pulau Banyak Village Head Zainal Arifin expressed his gratitude to God Almighty and was very grateful to the USU campus in this case carrying out community partnership service activities.

"Because they have provided wise direction and guidance in the progress of village development in the future and even asked the USU campus to make Pulau Banyak Village a fostered village in the following year so that it becomes an independent and cultivated village," he hoped.

The Pulau Banyak Village Head also expressed his gratitude to the USU community partnership service which had provided a fish pellet making machine, capital for making fish pellets, providing catfish, tilapia, and gourami seeds and providing material contributions so that this activity could take place.

The activity was carried out at the Pulau Banyak Village office and at the location for making fish pellets and sowing fish seeds into the pond.

On that occasion, the Pulau Banyak Village Head asked Zulfendri to provide the Pulau Banyak Village ambulance that had just been purchased.

"The Pulau Banyak Village Government hopes that this activity will continue so that Pulau Banyak Village becomes a developing and advanced village," he concluded.
