USU Lecturer Collaborates with Kelambir Community 5 Implementation of Multidisciplinary Health Services

MEDAN. The Faculty of Nursing of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) through four lecturers conducted community service activities implementing multidisciplinary health services in Kelambir 5 Kebun Village

The activity involving four lecturers, namely Eqlima Elfira SKep, Ns, MKep as the chair, and Bina members Melvia Girsang SKep, Ns, MKep, Roxsana Devi Tumanggor MNurs, Mnthl, Hlth, and Nurbaiti SKep, Ns, MBiomed, and assisted by 3 students of the Faculty of Nursing is part of MBKM USU.

In the activity attended by around 60 people from Kelambir 5 Kebun Village, free health checks and health education were carried out by forming discussion groups between communities.

The discussion on health issues aims to make the community independent in maintaining and protecting their families from diseases in their environment.

This activity is a program of the USU Community Service Institute in 2024, which pays attention to the Study of Sustainable Development for the Community which is the main priority for achieving international world targets in the future.
