Implementation of Internal Monitoring and Evaluation for DRTPM-Funded Community Service in FY 2023
Medan, the Community Service Institution of Universitas Sumatera Utara, conducted internal monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of community service activities funded by the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM) for the fiscal year 2023 from October 5 to 7, 2023.
Implementing this internal monitoring and evaluation activity is a mandatory responsibility of the Community Service Institution in managing community service activities funded by DRTPM. Furthermore, it is required to report the results of these activities to DRTPM according to the schedule set by DRTPM.
The monitoring and evaluation activities were carried out by visiting the locations of partners involved in DRTPM-funded community service activities. These locations included Medan City, Deli Serdang Regency, Dairi Regency, Langkat Regency, and North Nias Regency. Four (4) reviewers who met the requirements as determined by DRTPM regulations also participated in this activity.
DRTPM's specified guidelines for conducting this internal monitoring and evaluation provided the assigned reviewers with assessment forms. They were also required to carry out the monitoring and evaluation activities in compliance with the regulations applicable to reviewers.
The leaders of the community service activities were required to be present at the locations of their respective community service partners, and the partners involved were also required to attend. This arrangement aimed to facilitate reviewers confirming details with both the leaders and the partners involved in implementing the community service activities.
